About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and punctual Collection Boy to support home sample collection services for Healthdiagno Scan And Labs. The candidate will visit patients at scheduled locations, collect and handle samples safely, maintain proper identification and documentation, and deliver samples to the laboratory within the required time while maintaining professional behavior with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit patients for scheduled home sample collections.
• Collect blood and other permitted samples according to laboratory SOPs.
• Verify patient details before sample collection.
• Label and handle collected samples correctly.
• Maintain proper sample collection and transportation records.
• Transport samples safely to the laboratory within the required time.
• Follow infection-control, hygiene and biomedical waste safety practices.
• Coordinate with laboratory staff regarding assigned collections.
• Update collection status using the provided mobile application or system.
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with patients.

Requirements

• DMLT, BMLT or relevant laboratory qualification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of blood sample collection and phlebotomy.
• Good understanding of sample labeling, handling and transportation.
• Ability to travel locally for home sample collections.
• Smartphone and basic knowledge of mobile applications.
• Good communication and patient-handling skills.
• Punctual, responsible and trustworthy.
• Knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas preferred.
• Valid driving licence preferred where applicable.
• Previous home collection experience will be an advantage.

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible Lab Technician to support routine pathology testing, sample handling, laboratory documentation and patient-focused diagnostic services. The selected candidate should follow laboratory SOPs, maintain accuracy and work effectively with the diagnostic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label and process patient samples correctly.
• Perform routine laboratory tests according to approved SOPs.
• Operate laboratory instruments and maintain basic equipment records.
• Follow internal quality control, biosafety and infection-control practices.
• Maintain test records and support timely reporting.
• Communicate professionally with patients, doctors and laboratory staff.

Requirements

• DMLT, BMLT or equivalent laboratory qualification.
• Basic knowledge of hematology, biochemistry and routine pathology procedures.
• Good sample handling and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs, quality-control rules and laboratory safety practices.
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn laboratory software.
